POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Sales Manager is responsible for the general oversight of residential sales as well as the sales force in the Madison area Storm Guard location. They will be accountable to the location’s weekly, monthly and year-end sales goals. The Sales Manager will report to the Franchise Owner and manage a team of sales people.

Responsibilities

  • Attainment of sales metrics
  • Building relationships with homeowners and cultivating neighborhoods
  • Establish and strategically build a solid customer base in the assigned territory
  • Adhering to and maintaining proper administrative CRM systems and back office flow
  • Assisting ownership in the recruiting and hiring process of salespeople
  • Onboarding, training, and mentorship of salespeople
  • Prospecting for new opportunities and closing sales
  • Weekly review and setting of sales goals
  • Executing direct sales go-to-market strategy
  • Working with the ownership to establish sales reporting framework
  • Lead by example by learning the sales process and close a high percentage of the leads that you take on for training purposes
  • Embodying Storm Guard culture of leadership and customer service

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of sales experience, preferably in a direct sales role
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office applications
  • Physically able to set ladder, climb roofs, and do door-to-door sales

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED:

  • Proven experience in direct sales, ideally in a door-to-door sales model
  • Highly personable with the ability to quickly build relationships
  • Very organized and efficient with time management
  • Sales experience in roofing industry and knowledge of construction and/or building materials is a plus, but not required
  • Ability to coach, lead, and motivate a sales team
  • Experienced in the recruiting process; skilled at interviewing and hiring employees
  • Results driven with a proven track record for success in sales
  • Get it done attitude – Willingness to roll up your sleeves and dive in when and where it’s necessary
